At once hilarious and heartbreaking, Portrait and a Dream rebounds across time and memory, coalescing into a powerful and intensely personal depiction of love, loss and human tragedy. Nick’s life is perfect. He loves his job, his girlfriend, their new apartment. But Nick makes a mistake. Then another, and another, until all that is left is the shattered remnants. Tormented by regrets and clutching the tattered memories of an irretrievable past, he discovers that life is easy when you’re happy, but when you’re miserable… well, that’s when things get interesting.
